FOR SENIORS & FAMILIES

How Dental Care Works for You

We bring dental care directly to seniors in their home, retirement residence, or care facility. Here is a simple, clear look at how the process works from your first call to ongoing care.

We Come to You

No driving, no waiting rooms. Care is delivered on-site wherever the senior lives.

Family-Friendly Process

Family members and substitute decision-makers are kept informed and involved throughout.

Respectful & Dignified

Our team treats every patient with patience, gentleness, and respect for their comfort and dignity.

THE CARE JOURNEY

Simple Steps. Clear Communication. Compassionate Care.

Seniors, family members and caregivers all go through the same simple steps with us. Here is what to expect, from your first call to ongoing appointments.

Step 1

Request Care

Getting started is easy. A family member, caregiver, or the senior themselves can reach out by phone, email, or through our online form. There is no referral required, and we will ask a few simple questions to understand the situation.

Step 2

We Review the Need

Our team reviews the request and follows up to learn more about the dental needs, living situation, and any health considerations. We work with families and care teams to plan appropriately.

Typically within 1 to 2 business days

Step 3

Forms & Consent

Before any appointment, we make sure the appropriate consent is in place. Required forms are shared with the patient, family member, or substitute decision-maker, with plenty of time for questions.

Step 4

Schedule the Appointment

Once everything is in order, we schedule a convenient time and coordinate directly with the facility, household, or family to minimize disruption. You receive clear confirmation of what to expect.

We accommodate mobility needs and preferences

Step 5

On-Site Dental Visit

Our dentist-led portable team arrives with everything needed to provide care. Services may include an exam, cleaning, fillings, denture work, or urgent treatment, all delivered with gentleness and respect.

Step 6

Follow-Up & Next Steps

After the visit we provide a clear summary of what was done and any recommended next steps, and communicate with the family and facility care teams. Ongoing care is arranged around each person.

Continuity of care is our priority

Frequently Asked Questions

We work with substitute decision-makers (SDMs) when a resident is unable to provide consent on their own behalf. We provide the necessary forms and take the time to explain the proposed care clearly. All consent is properly documented before any appointment takes place.
Our portable team can provide a range of services depending on the assessment and the resident’s specific needs. These may include oral examinations, teeth cleaning, fillings, denture services, and emergency dental care. Services are always determined based on what is clinically appropriate and safe in the given setting.
We accept most major dental benefit plans. We also work with clients whose coverage falls under the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and other provincial programs where applicable. We recommend contacting us to discuss your specific coverage before your appointment.
It depends on the urgency of the need. For routine or planned care, we typically schedule appointments within a reasonable window based on current availability. For dental emergencies, we make every effort to respond as quickly as possible. Contact us and we will let you know current availability.
